Whatever way your knee jerks you have to say this team has shown a lot of character to redress situations when we’ve gone behind. When / if we ever get our first x1 out we are going to steamroller a few teams but this and the Fulham game are a massive 6 points.

The early cross from Rose was decisive, there were so many other times he checked in on himself before delivering or not delivering at all which negates the only threat Llorente does pose.

GLORY GLORY TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS. GLORY BE TO YHWH!!

Llorente - you beauty. No matter how low it feels - we shall rise and rise again. Well done boys. Tough at times but y'all stuck to it.

Moura man of the match. Hopefully Poch makes those decisive subs more often now. Thought Poch was excellant today.

Notable mentions to Son and Rose (again!) though.
Moura has been quiet for a while but when he’s like this he flies past players so easily you wonder why he doesn’t do it more often. Took a clattering though.
Son really took responsibility tonight. He’s added more to his game than just shifting it and hitting it early.
Rose always an option and driving forward, could cross a little earlier though.

Come to think of it all 3 of them got clattered tonight.

Yes - Rose is good with space to burst into, but you know he is going to try a left footed cross, so it is pretty easy to defend against most of the time.

Whenever he checks back, the move just dies.

PS - did people notice that when Llorente headed it, Lamela was running towards goal at pace to try and get involved, whereas Son and Moura were just watching, stationary? All good forwards keep moving towards goal and get the rebounds and deflections.
