Of course we want to win the cup, but we need to rotate in times like these when matches come thick and fast. It's pretty simple, really. We lost a hard fought semi just a few days ago.

He said Eriksen and Winks were knackered! Would it have made a difference to play those two of they're not fit for it? Are we going to just assume Poch is lying to justify his selection?
Who knows. But blindly taking any managers word is not what I do. If any player cannot play two games a week then in surprised. Winks has not even been a regular this season.

LOL

The strikers are the least of the problem.

There is a huge gap in the middle of the park.

Keep believing the squad is perfect if you want, its not we need a player or two.
I don't believe it's perfect. I also don't believe that one or two signings with a manager like Poch who needs to work with players before they become regulars will transform this season. I also know that Levy will not spend the transfer fee or wages on a ready-made first team player.

I’ve got this sneaky suspicion that if we can somehow get past Dortmund and with players returning, we will go on to have a really strong finish to the season and dare I say, go very deep in the Champs Lge.

COYS!
Yep. Without the distractions of two cups.

First decade since the 1940’s without a trophy

Yet, the closest we've been to winning the league since the 60's, consecutive appearances in the best competition in the world, probably with the most wins and most goals scored of any decade since the 60's. Trophies aren't everything.

We won two trophies in the 90's, yet we were absolute brick and the laughing stock of our opponents and rivals. I had a stomach ache every time we played back then. fudge those days.

The bottom line is CL qualification will help us pay 100k-200k salaries and high transfer fees. The FAcup won’t

Sure the squad would like to win everything, but have to be sensible with so many injuries.
And rinse and repeat every season. We have been in the Champions League for a while now and we still have not paid Eriksen or Toby. And of you think we will sign any star players you don't know levy.

fudge prioritising we haven't got a chance against Dortmund. Kane and Dele won't be back. So concentrate on fa cup. Easier to win.

If we don't stay in the top 4 we should be embarrassed.

THEY ARE THE ONLY THING!!! THE ONLY THING!!! wouldn't you rather we had won the fa cup once than playing against Madrid, Barca, beating Dortmund? I know I would. It's all about SILVER!!!!!!

How can he not play eriksen and winks when we are already missing Kane , son and Dele.

Just baffles me some of the decisions he makes.
OK
Try this
We need to concentrate on top 4 as that is worth £60m + to keep improving.
FA Cup is the squad-root of feck all by comparison.

Why were Rose and Winks even on the bench? If you aren't going to play them regardless of how badly we need them. Why not just leave them at home instead. In fact now I saw Rose having right good laugh at the final whilst, so maybe it makes sense after all.

We woke up after half time, but the damage was already done. And you get the feeling we could have played all night without scoring anyway.

Lamela is a fudging show pony on his bad days. Always taking too many touches, rolling the ball with the sole of his boot rather than passing and moving. Walker-Peters on the left gives us nothing going forward. And giving away that penalty didn't exactly help either. Skipp showed he's not ready at this level. Foyth was decent, I thought. Wanyama, okay, he has just returned from injury, but he was beyond awful. Poch showed with his substitutions that he was perfectly happy to go out of the tournament.

I feel that our season could be disintegrating in front of our eyes now.

We're not going to win the biggest stack of money prize either.

No, but we're slowly building the club to be able to compete financially with the clubs that currently are a level above us. Pay off that stadium and keep on playing in the CL and we'll get there sooner rather than later. I'd love to win a cup, but it's not everything. If we get on a level playing field with the very best, we'll realistically be able to compete for the top honours every year.

Sigh. Now that's two cups gone in the space of a week - hell, that's our chance of silverware f*cking gone for another season.

This f*cking cuts deep.

I don't give a single halfpenny fudge about the Champions League, and other than getting into it because we're now adopting Arsene Wenger's penniless, trophyless Top Four approach, there's little to be gained by performing in that competition.

We are too weak to win it - too raw, too naive, and too f*cking penny-wise and pound foolish when it comes to squad building, thanks to that chairman and owner of ours.

But we could have won this.

F*cking typical bloody Tottenham.
