Have to say that I’m proud of our side in spite of the loss. We were only beaten by penalties by a full strength Chelsea team. We had key players missing. We had a few just back from injury and yet we pushed it all the way. Well done to them for showing character and spirit to push Chelsea all the way.

Gutted but at least we didn’t give up. We didn’t bottle it.

I missed the first 60 minutes of the game -- where we as sh1t for that as we were for the 30 minutes I saw? We looked like a bunch of headless chickens. And wow, Moura is not good at the moment. I don't know if the good Moura at the start of the season is the real him or whether this is the real him. But it's a bit worrying.

Sums it up. yes, it is nice to reach a final. Could we have beaten City on the day, possibly, but they would be strong favourites. One less midweek game to rearrange I suppose, and the team showed some bottle to fight back in the 2nd half

That's the problem with the league cup -- If you don't win it it's a lot of games and a strain on the squad to get knocked out late on.

Half our team missing to take them that close is promising though.
