Just finished season 1, quite brilliant.

Somehow manages to find a little "good" or "happiness"* for her, while simultaneously ending on a terrifying note - unbelievable balancing act.

*If thats even the way to put it?! Bloody horrific show but excellent tv all the same. Such a strange show to try and describe.

Yup, brilliant.

Was also loving Season 2 until the latest episode, which seemed to take a big step backwards. I’m hoping this week’s episode reveals something clever that shows it wasn’t a backward step.

Im am fully in the binge watching mentality, will be waiting for it to finish so I can watch it over a few nights.

Was thinking of starting Mad Men, has the same girl in it (Moss?)

That being said, it has the rather lovely Aislin Bea in though so its not all bad!
I couldn't get over her 'London' accent, she is the most Oirish Oirish ever.
She has a massive chip on one shoulder about being Irish, and a similar massive chip on the other shoulder about being a woman.
But don't ever mention chips, Irish women hate being told about cooking and the potato famine

Season 3 of The Expanse is ending strongly. Two hour finale on Space Channel next Wednesday. Apparently, Amazon have picked up the series and committed to two more seasons.

Also, wondering if anyone else watched and enjoyed Black Sails? It's a four season look at the back story into Long John Silver and Treasure Island. Set mainly in Nassau, Bahamas, it's superbly photographed, wildly raunchy and nicely wrapped up by the end.

think Black Sails got off on a bad foot as it was billed as a replacement for Blood & Boobs (Spartacus) and the first season was a bit light weight and full of tits. Later seasons when they decided to concentrate on character development and plot made it a really good Series, its available via PRIME if anyone is looking for it.

Anyone else watch Into the Badlands, plot is garbage but if you like wire work and OTT martial arts nothing comes close on the small screen. I tend to watch giving half attention and stop for full attention once they start fighting, its amazing.

Ive got Into the Badlands on my watchlist, havent seen it yet.

Black Sails definitely started with a high tit factor, and then moved away from that toward character work. Probably the right move, bloody good show.

Ive been watching Mad Men. Im on season 3 and honestly still not sure I even like it, most of the characters are bloody horrible. I do like the period of it though, and the faithful representation of the 60s - I think thats whats keeping my interest.

I gave Madmen about 2-3 seasons and ditched it, wanted to like it but I just didn't care about anyone in it or anything they were doing.

Nothing that amazing but both Hap & Leonard / Goliath are good on Prime.
