World Cup 2018 Semi Finals

Unlucky England, players gave it everything and just didn't have enough in the end. Had a great run at this World Cup though, they can all be happy with the effort and so can us fans watching imo.
 
Ah well, at least the lads are coming eh - no ?

Thought we looked very naïve with their antics, didn't have much going forward

Dejan Lovren in a Champions League and a World Cup final in the same season. Has the world gone mad, or has football just gotten brick?
 
Truth is Croatia were not all that. Only decent side we played were Belgium. Should have been in the final (which we'd probably lost against a better team with Mbaap or whatever his name is).

Not a bad run and more than a lot of people expected.
 
Hm...didn't see that coming. England got what they deserved...nothing, because after half time they stopped playing football. What was all that hoofing back to the Croatian keeper all about. Southgate has to face some blame too, because he was too conservative. He bought Rose and Dier in forty minutes too late. Young had all the solidity of a blamange (spelling?) and Henderson was a spectator. Kane is injured I will tell you that. Don't expect him to start the next season.
 
France have been the standout performers in this tournament, so they should win it. Croatia have played extra time for every one of their games.

Do we have to watch a 3rd place match?

Not sure it was the system. From what I saw this cup, Kane is England's best, fit, central midfielder.

Our biggest problem was having to play Henderson and expecting him to not do a Henderson
