Pakistani Fiddlers

In the northern towns the Pakistani's were invited over to work in factories after the war as there was almost full employment at the time.

No ones suggesting for one minute that its only Pakistanis or that all Pakistanis are responsible, but race and culture need to be addressed to get to the bottom of this particular incident and many like it.

To be fair, I've had a few run ins with Golfball (before he spelt his name correctly)

Not commenting specifically on this thread, but I've found him to be quite reasonable since the new board

Anyway, that's my two-penneth

I suspect he's not here as a deliberate WUM
 
Some people have their own sad little agendas and are all over this to push the boat out to the max. Logic is irrelevant to them, so why bother arguing with them. I find it strange that disgust at the crime is not foremost in their minds, rather the race of the perpetrators is. But that's okay, we should be tolerant of all viewpoints.
 
The trouble is that every time someone in this country mentions the words foreigners, or the phrase " from another country" the sky is full of bleeding heart liberals, hand wringing social workers, and do-gooders screaming " you are a racist" and nothing can get done. There is a very big social problem in this country and it needs proper debate, but the above groups shut up shop and refuse to see past their blinkered views, and we can never get pass that.

My bad, I was trying to remember whether it was peshawari or kashmiri whom Yasmin Qureshi said had predominantly settled in the North.

People should stand by what they post. I agree that the police should not have adopted a 'politically correct' line when investigating this crime and this was reprehensible. However, that does not justify the hate mongers attempting to whip up racial prejudice either. I can picture the relish on some people's faces as they delight in getting a 'free racial hit' on this issue. Pathetic!

I don't have any time or respect for some jonny-come-lately who obviously hasn't read the discussion within this thread before opening his mouth and placing his foot in it. No clue whatsoever as to the issues which are being discussed, yet sees fit to patronise everyone? Whatever, fudge that.
