Transfer window thread?

The transfer window is much like bidding on a thing on Ebay. It's all smooth sailing until there's like 20 seconds left, then it's all mayhem, bids flying in left and right, and suddenly you've ended up paying 5x as much as you wanted for some brick thing you didn't really want anyway.

- Son, Dele, Toby, Wanyama, Sanchez, Aurier in last 3 years
- Only notable/unwanted sale since Bale (close to 5 years ago) was Walker at 28
- On verge of another really good catch with Lucas

I guess if we had waited another 2 years and paid 50M+ for Toby, Dele, Son, Wanyama we would be ambitious?

We have a settled team that just needs small additions here and there. It's perfect to be honest, rather than say Sanchez and Giroud and replace with tabloid signings.

Don't rate Rondon at all. I don't think he is any better than Llorente really.

I totally agree. The amount of times he has come on to nick a late goal is more annoying than his face, amazingly enough.
