Points Table 2013/14

The league could be won with as little as 80 points and CL could require 75.

City have played 6 of the other top 8 teams at home and beaten them all (lost away to Chelsea). Winning against your rivals gives you an advantage.

Anything is possible. But then again anything is impossible.

I officially give up for this season in the EPL.

But there are 2 cups to go for. Tim ain't a mug. He is trying to find his best team for the Gooner game.

Removing the top 3 as we won't catch them, we have this start point for the second half of the season:

+5 Liverpool
+4
+3 Everton
+2 Saudi Sportswashing Machine
+1
0 Man United, Tottenham

It's a shame United are in that table. Otherwise I would quite fancy it. But.... nah, it's not on this year :(

Really looks like 7 teams (can see Barcodes falling away), 9th is already a long way back.

Next week-end could be interesting for Moyes, a bad result for United again at home with most of the other 7 having winnable games ...

We could finish above arrse. It is a long shot. But one draw for them and a win for us, and its down to 6 points. It depends on whether they sign anyone effective this month and if they lose their cool. You get the feeling that once they slip up they could flounder further. They are grinding out results at the moment but are not always convincing. A draw today against cardiff was close. We just need them to draw a few games.

If we get 2 points per game average from the remaining 18 games we will have 73 points total for the season. 73 points should be sufficient for CL qualification assuming Man United doesn't win the CL. COYS.

Would be massive to get 3 points tomorrow, hopefully followed by a Chelsea win. Liverpool - Everton in 10 days time while we host City.

The gap between us and Southampton is looking healthy, but the gap between us and 10th is unreal, I cant ever remember us being 16pts clear of 10th place at this stage of the season.
Literally is two leagues now one of 9, one of 11

I see that even the Premier League have been tweeting the Cann Table recently... fingers crossed we're level with Liverpool and ahead of Everton on Tuesday...
