I assumed that but I read at the weekend that he doesn't.
There are exemptions for elite players. I assume that we must've claimed that he is this on the basis of being the top scorer in a major European league last season and CL appearances.
That appears to be the case looking at the FAs rules they have a points based system for players who haven't played the %age of international games required.

I don't have a problem with journos speculating or sharing gossip. We all know that most of it doesn't come to anything. It's part of the game.
My issue with him is he pretends to be better connected than he is and passes off other people's stories as his own.
