Leaving Juve, but not retiring. Reportedly considering offers from several clubs.

Not that I think we need a new keeper - but would you? He is a leader and a proven winner. A bit old though .

Looking for a big payday I imagine.

I could see the benefit of having a character like that around though. How's his English?

He's probably better than Hugo, even now, but doesn't have as many years left, would hurt us long term to alienate Lloris.

Buffon is exactly the kind of character we want. But we don't really need a 40-year old goalkeeper, plus he will not likely go to a team where he will be a bench warmer. But in terms of leadership, man he would be great.

Doesn't he like tossing in the dressing room or something? Get his eye in before matches, like medieval archers used to?

Not bothered about winning that Champions League then?

If he's not retiring, why leave Juve? The pay day obviously, but I'd assume he's making a ton of money anyway, and even when he's 50 he'll be better than Sneezy will ever be.

No, that's just what they told you at the Chelsea under 8s training camp.

Amazing keeper, one of my favorites, however he did go down quite considerably in my estimation with the attack on the ref the other week. It’s one thing losing it at the time, understandable even, but after the match, having seen the replays, he should have toned it down.

For all his ability and leadership qualities, I do not want him at Spurs - He is a dingdonghead IMHO

Based on what are you saying that? He wears his heart on his sleeve, but I wouldn't call him a dingdonghead. He's probably one of the classiest players to grace a football pitch and he seems like a real mensch. But even if he were a dingdonghead, if he joined us he would be OUR dingdonghead. Nothing wrong with that and we need more of it.

One of greatest “dingdongheads” to ever play the game.
    They don’t come much better.
