Back after 8 years... what did I miss?

Hi all, so used to post fairly regularly back on the old old old forum (something like 2005-2008, back way when people used to rate people and that caused a whole furore...), then disappeared since 2012.

So er, is this GG place still a thing? What have i missed? Are people helpful or is everyone just an arse like in real life?

You haven't frequented 'coronavirus' or 'politics politics politics' for a while, then...?

It really hasn't changed in the last 15 years or so I've frequented. I think it's still the only forum I can handle. The ITK ball licker forums are just awful. I find the TFC to be way too chaotic.

Also I've found it has been a nice escape during lockdown. I'm posting much more and the variety of perspectives are still good.

I would say to my fellow left leaning folk, don't leave. Stay and have the discussion.
