    Luka Vuskovic

Disappointing. While I didn't think he'd be PL ready immediately, he's got the potential to become really, really good. For him it's probably a very good move, as he'll surely get playing time and experience for Brighton that he wouldn't have gotten at Spurs. Still wish we could've sent him...

Indeed. And I think authorities have made it much harder for refs with the constant changing and adjusting of rules, and an utopian strive for perfection in officiating.

Multiple camera angles, endless slomo replays and the consequent media/social media scrutiny/exposure make it much more easy to climb down the rabbit hole too.

Norwegian fans weren't done rowing after all - 70.000 gathered in central Oslo tonight to cheer the team and row with them, to the rythm of drumming by the crown prince.

Of course, and I get your point, but if the ref had spotted the ball hitting the wire, play would've been stopped for a dropped ball and Bellingham wouldn't have scored that goal. Also, if we assume the trajectory of the ball was indeed changed by the wire, it means the ball didn't land where...

Apparently Infantino has now suggested increasing the number of teams in the next WC to 64. There will soon be no point in actual qualifiers at this rate.

Yep, I find it hard to conclude either way, TBF. Norwegian players + managers furiously pointing to the wire after the goal, indicates there was a touch, though. Players often point and shout and complain after conceeding of course, but blaming a camera wire is not very common, to say the least.

Well, England scored seconds later, when it was supposed to be a dropped ball, so it's pretty clear who benefitted. Very odd that it didn't register, though.

    Ingerlund

Massively annoying how they constantly interrupt the game by showing random celebrities pretending to be interested in football.

Probably just a distraction from McConnellgate.

Yeah, I was really annoyed with Anderson. Happy to give it, but couldn't handle taking it in return. Proper Arsenal mould. Great player who had a great game, though. Should make a big difference for City next season.

    Djed Spence

Him and Reece James basically nullified our wingers today. Great subs, and shows the depth England have compared to Norway. I can't believe all this talk of England having a right back problem when Spence is fit and fireing. There's the solution right there.

Norwegian fans gathering in front of the royal castle in Oslo to row one last time.

Yeah that cable thing was weird. I didn't see it at the time, but VAR or that ball sensor surely should've spotted it. Which would've meant a dropped ball and still 1-0. Sensor didn't record anything, and another camera angle is inconclusive, so possibly it didn't.

Probably just nothing more to give. Thought he was contained pretty well by England tonight, and never looked like he got out of first gear.
