    I admit I don't watch much football outside of Spurs, but we do seem to have at least one or two brain farts per game, as well as messing up plenty big chances. I can't remember any other team we've faced being so error prone in front of either goal.

    We're practically (un)comfortably mid table at the moment. Eight points below fourth place and eight points above relegation. If we made half as many stupid errors and was 10% more clinical in front of goal, we'd be in the top four. There's our issue.

    Definite improvement in that half, apart from us switching off and being punished AGAIN. It's so infuriating. We should've been two or three goals up from our chances. For the most part we also controlled them well. Why fudgelng switch off AGAIN??!

    Looks a good team. Hopefully the refs will be content just doing their jobs and following the rules today, and leave it to us to mess everything up.

    We did get shafted big time with the penalty decision at 1-1, after WH had failed to take their chances, though. If the refs had done their jobs properly, we'd probably be 2-1 up with 20 or so minutes to go. So it's not only ourselves to blame.

    Perisic and Bale #2 are underrated, IMO. Perisic's ACL injury hit us bad - we could really have used his experience and quality that season. Bale #2 was just not what the manager wanted, but when we got him playing to his strengths he was quality.

    Ligaments do get strained and worn though, and that will affect how well they hold up when you put real pressure on them. If our pitch surfaces makes increased strain likely, surely that could be an element. This isn't my field of expertise at all, like I said, so it could be BS. But IMO it...
