    He certainly was, I remember seeing one game on TV were Ricky Villa did a typical Argentine "tackle" on an opponent and Yorath couldn't stop himself laughing.

    Sometimes in newspapers not on TV or radio, remember turning up for game on Boxing day and Steve Hodge was named in the team nobody knew anything about it. Football was a game not such an industry.

    For a couple of seasons he was a monster, terrifying teams in league and Europe, he had a terrible injury after joining us and an up and down relationship with Bill Nicholson. Went to see his comeback game in the reserves at WHL and he scored 6. His long throws were a useful attacking option...
