Football, bloody hell...

Despite all the cynicism, greed and commercialization it's been through in recent times....football proves it's still able to effortlessly bring a tear to my eye, from the reaction to Muamba's collapse, to Everton's dignity commemorating Hillsborough, and now to this .

This is why I love the game despite everything that's happened to it: it really does bring people together.

People should stop starting threads with a "cursed/shocked" title like that. You are panicking people who are following closely the Bale saga ![-X

Eh? As far as I can remember, it's something Ferguson said after he won the CL in '99. Hardly shocking. Now, if I'd said 'Football, fudging HELL!' then you would have been perfectly justified in issuing a stentorian warning.

Though now my next thread title will likely be 'NO!!!!!!!!!!!!', just to see what the immediate reaction would be. :p

Being picky but I really wish it had been filmed better. A fantastic tribute from his club and the fans - can't even imagine how that would have felt for the fella. Died 3 days later...no doubt as happy as he could be.

Top marks Feyenoord.

Literally wiping tears from eyes, wow. Not a very emotional person but Christ that got me.

Feyenoord and their incredible fans =D>

Superbly well done those fans. That truly is an amazing moment to give to a fan, let alone one that is terminally ill.
