I really really hope we lay on an impressive performance as it so much feels like we are on an upward curve.

If we have one of those nondescript performances I'm not sure how I'll process it?

I'm undecided as to whether the international break came at a good time or not. It is always awful going into a break off the back of a bad performance but after a game like the United one,you fancy your chances against anyone. Let's hope we haven't lost momentum.

I think it might be a good thing, as it would make the players time to get back down on the ground, instead of flying high and thinking that things just happen by themselves?

Whereas we hope they have lost theirs.

No fair on anyone to drop them after the United game. Plus let Bale ease in, coming on when players are tiring. If he is needed. Plenty of games to come.

Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Reguilon; Sissoko, Hojbjerg, Ndombele; Bergwijn, Kane, Son. Subs: Hart, Doherty, Davies, Winks, Bale, Lucas, Vinicius

London derbies against West Ham are always tight matches. West Ham tend to lift their game against us. Can see this being another tight match. This match will be all about Bale and his second debut for us. Hope he can come on and inspire us. We badly need to win this match. After all, we are yet to win at home this season, losing to Everton and drawing with Saudi Sportswashing Machine before this. Let's hope we can get our first home win of the season.
