Exactly, everyone knows it should be brown sauce on chips.what a fudging clam
I think it was Bill Nicholson who said if a player is not interfering with play he shouldn't be on the pitch.
As a defender we always pushed up to catch any lazy/stupid player offside no matter where they were.
See there are some pretty strong accusations from Egypt about FIFA fixing it so Argentina and Messi didn’t go out.
This is exactly the sort of thing FIFA have left themselves open to with their ridiculous decision on the US lad. It won’t be the last time something like this is said at the World Cup. They’ve completely undermined themselves and turned it into a bit of a circus.
They’re unfit to run the game.
At least some players have the decency to ignore the stupid decisions, like Balogun, who chose to serve his ban on the pitch. There is no denying there have been some questionable decisions
I’ve only seen the highlights but I didn’t see anything questionable in the officiating of the Argentina Egypt game, the biggest controversy seems to be the disallowed goal but there was a clear shirt hold and push, that was a foul.
Surely that was just "dark arts" and not a foul and a "tackle" on Salah was far worse than the challenge Quansah did. I suppose it all depends on who you support or what hat you're wearing.
It’s dark arts if you get away with it, the whole point of dark arts is to fool the officials, if you don’t you failed, and can’t complain when the ref actually does the job properly.
Only tackle on salah I saw was Romero sliding in and clearly taking all of the ball first, i thought that was a great tackle, was there another one?
Like you I didn't watch game only the incidents that have been highlighted as questionable. I believe getting the ball is not a "free hit" anymore. You really do have a perverse view of the game and sporting principles in general.
You have to wonder if it's really just high trolling on his part; i mean it doesn't make sense that someone who seems to have always viewed the game in that cynical light actually chose to support Spurs...

it came the other way around, its supporting Spurs for so long that has led to me appreciating the cynical arts
