Posting this in the hope of manifesting his transfer (or maybe Lange looks on here to see who we want ha).

Several articles saying that Saudi Sportswashing Machine are potentially looking to sell Woltemade as he's been second choice (or playing in midfield) and they'd rather buy a younger and more versatile player. Chelsea and Real Madrid mentioned as possible destinations (Saudi Sportswashing Machine have one eye on Delap).

Think he would be absolutely perfect for us. A real focal point and most importantly he can finish with both feet or his head.

Yes his first season wasn't incredible, but he was on the bench for a lot of matches and also played in midfield quite often. It seems Saudi Sportswashing Machine want to play a more counter-attacking style *without* a classic number 9, and Woltemade doesn't really fit.

Talk of £75m...

Am I crazy? This guy seems to have something really special, some of his finishes are superb.

He looked good at U21 level but 30 odd goals in 140 games doesn't say £75m or what we need.

He looked lumbering and abit clumsy when I saw him.

Maybe I won't be as disappointed if we don't get him, but think he's ready to explode somewhere. If he doesn't go to us then Madrid would be interesting...

He may well be better than what I have seen of him, I won't pretend to have seen much of him, the odd game here and there, maybe I was unlucky. But he just looked clumsy when I did.

Someone compared him to Berba on here once though, that was "whack" as the American kids say

I think I miss something that others see in this guy, I’ve not been impressed at all in the few games I’ve seen of him. He is highly rated by quite a few people though.

Also similar to Berbatov from what I've seen, who also wasn't a great goal scorer (15 league goals) but provided a hell of a lot playmaking wise to more than compensate for that.

I personally think that’s only because Saudi Sportswashing Machine often play him as a 10… so he doesn’t get a chance to use his finishing (but can still be creative).

Played as a full on 9 he’d def get a lot more goals. His finishing is crazy good, just hasn’t got many chances.
