@ricky2tricky4city was your view obstructed or OK mate? Those higher rows can be tricky there...
It appears that at Palace now, you stand where you bloody want to get an ok view :) 😎. The stewards are constantly blocking access to the lower bit and checking tickets. Tbh it wasn't sardine like as it looked like not everyone had bothered to make the trip. We were in good voice though.

Always had a soft spot for Palace and Selhurst, as my grandad was a BIG Palace fan, and took me to my first live games there when I was a kid. We used to sit in the stand opposite....it hasn't changed one bit :)

I remember seeing a game at Crystal Palace Sport Centre, I think it was in the early 70's, it was an international competition during the summer or pre season between Palace and Inter Milan. I cant remember if it was Anglo Italian or Intertoto Cup.

I was in an unrestricted view seat and I spent the whole game either on tiptoes or ducking between the heads of the people in front of me to see what was happening. The far left top corner of the pitch was impossible to see. Mind you I was as far to the right as you could get, by the wall.
Still enjoyed it though.

Listen i know Richy on some form, but ultimately he was offside for both the goals and therefore, the stats show an assist but nothing more. RKM is a far better striker, pacy, dribbling, and a much better all round player.

I would rather see Odobert on the left starting, and RKM in the middle. I think any time you are picking Richy to start you are basically defending from the front and not attacking.

RKM is a better all round player, that doesn't mean he's a better striker, let alone a far better one. Richy is better at putting the ball in the net and that is the primary task of a striker.

Muani is a skilful player, but he needs to step up. He hasn't scored or even got an assist in 11 league games, that's a scandalous return for someone with his ability.

We all know Richie's faults and would ideally like someone better all round, but of all our forwards he's about the only one who knows how to put the ball in the net on a fairly consistent basis....

No different to the last time he came on and made a difference.....does the same today...got to be given the run he deserves.

I think he deserves a run, absolutely. Very effective today. He cannot domuch more to earn the chance right now, and I have been critical of him in the past.

Significant difference coming on against tiring legs and with the game opening up compared to starting, but he's been good when starting too and gives us a more natural wide player on that side.

Think he's enough to warrant another start soon.

I think there's been a change with him. It certainly looked like he had ability in the past BUT this season he has this confidence and belief he belongs.

I was worried that confidence can wain when the manager doesn't show similar confidence in you. Yesterday, showed his belief (in himself,) is still bubbling along. He simply just looks dangerous.
