Will Lankshear

Issue with this is going to be that these players are going to be in and around the squad during pre season and getting minutes in the friendlies to not dilute their value.

I always think of that "10, 11, 12 players good enough to stay beyond the summer" comment from RDZ. That was based on who he had worked with at the time. Now there's 5 of that list he gets to work with and assess for the first time, along with some talented younger players. With the new signings he's up to "12, 13, 14".

Very different profiles but I think it works as no reason why they could not play together at point as well as him with Kroupi with Solanke.
Kroupi is more like a year more advanced Tel, rather than similar to Lankshear

Ok, so how do you compare Kroupi with Lankshear? What attributes do either have over the other and who is more likely to succeed as a PL striker/attacker long-term?

Kroupi is a Thierry Henry. Lankshear is a Harry Kane. Kroupi is mobile, whereas Lankshear can lead the line; both are instinctive and great finishers.

Do you think, like the two posters above, that both players could work well together at Spurs?

Possibly, I'm a fan of Lankshear as I've seen him improve all aspects of his game over the years. He's not played much with the quality of players we have, or against such opponents. The big question is can he do it in PL, that's the decision for the manager to make, I think he'll make it with someone in PL, a club that don't think they have a right to be a big club and see his potential.

I do wonder if that sending off against Galatasaray in the EL that time really set him back in the eyes of Ange and the coaches....

If he doesn't succeed in getting a chance with us, what kind of PL clubs would you imagine would try and take him off our hands (whether on loan or permanent)?

Ok, do you think
a) he WILL succeed with us; and
b) he SHOULD succeed with us?

Neither he won't get the chance, young players need time to adapt, time is only allowed to players that clubs have paid big money for. 1 or 2 goals in 8 games and he'd be seen as not good enough. If we create chances he'd score, he's not going to beat 2/3 men on a dribble or out pace a defence, he'll pressurise defenders and get in right place to score, but what do I know?
