Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I suppose if Levy was going to sack him then it would just have been the players on the bus, without any chance for Ange to get near a microphone and deploy another meme quote.

But we could almost certainly do better, and once we’re being hammered in the league every week again, this stay of execution will be widely regretted.

Nothing can justify it, but it happens. West Ham spent a fortune, they are 15th. United sacked a manager spent a fortune they are 16th.

I want to hear from our successful manager how he would improve, not just bin him off for failure because carl said so. He hasn't failed. Champions League football and a major trophy = success

fudge me carl are you an arsenal fan you sound miserable? When we lifted the trophy did you walk out in a huff?
He failed in the league, he was successful in the Europa.

I think he'll stay. Despite the abysmal league finish, despite some questionable league performances, despite us looking very one dimentional in our play for long periods.

It just feels as if his standing among the players and staff is rock solid, and that he has instilled a mentality that we've never had in my time supporting Spurs - and he won a trophy and got that bloody monkey off our collective backs too.

It's just a hunch I have that's been growing stronger after hearing all the interviews with players and staff after the win, and seeing how they are and act around Ange.
If he stays im not watching next season and I'll delete my account on here. Id be utterly done with the club.

That's your choice.

I will start next season as I do most; cautiously optimistic, looking forward to seeing the new signings play and how the youngsters have developed over the summer. Another season of Ange should have course be a car crash, but I'll react to that if and when it happens.

Putting rotation to the side, which I think we all agree was the right thing to do, I've still not seen any theories explaining the different tactical setups, and the reason for them.
If we're setting up one way cause we think we can win the competition, what are we doing in the league? He said himself he thought we could win it, so he's approached it to win. Why were we not approaching league games tactically to win them?

Still doesn't sit right with me.
We played very similar tactics against both Brentford and Man Utd in the league games where 6 points all but assured our safety.

Why?
What do you know that they don't?
I'm not watching another season like the last two. It's been utter sh*t served up in 90% of games for around 18 months now. If 1 game (which was devoid of quality) makes the club think that things are going in the right direction and that we do not need to take drastic action to safeguard our league position, then im not giving them my money.

That's fair enough, not paying to go is your choice. But you said before you would turn your back on the club - which is a whole different proposition. I just can't comprehend how anyone can cut the ties of a lifeltime like that.

Fair enough. I think we'd all agree that IF it turns out to be better than you're expecting come Christmas, do not hesitate to come back. No-one would hold it against you in any way, and FWIW, in my book you'd be welcome. I mean that.
