Virgin v Sky

Had both Virgin and Sky. Went back to sky within 2 months of getting Virgin.

May have somthing to do with personal prefernce as I like the feel of Sky and it's TV guide. Also may have somthing to do with the additional channels avaliable on sky not avaliable on Virgin.

Depends on what your personally like I suppose. Package-wise though I doubt will be too different if you barter with them and get additional products like broadband etc.

Guys, havent read much of this and probably should but I have Sky, full HD package, with ESPN £94.50 per month. Virgin have offered this

With our VIP Collection you will get Broadband 100Mb, Phone XL, TV XL, Talk Mobile, Talk International, Talk 08, Sky Sports & Movies Collection, TiVo 1TB Box, Additional V HD Box - HD activated, Sky Premium HD, Virgin phone line, Virgin Media Super Hub and adapter and ESPN channel, which will cost you £60.52 for first six months and £107.15 after that Moreover, you will get free installation with this package which is worth £49.95If you order this package online then you will get discount of £75 in your first bill.

I rung sky to say I might be leaving as Virgin looked good, and they offered me the new 2TB HD box, plus multiroom (discounted to free for 12 months whereby I can then cancel it) for £109 (including installation).

Is Virgin any good, and what do you not get with Virgin that you do with Sky? Also is the mega fast broadband actually megafast or is it false advertising?
