Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

I think its a great shame about Dalglish. A great player and great manager in the making. The post-Hillsborough events really took it out of him and yet he still won the PL with Blackburn.

The Liverpool hierarchy left him out to dry over the Suarez affair. He was out of his depth, wanting to support his player, and not knowing how to handle it with the press. For players supporting their team-mates the tee-shirt was understandable, but for the manager, representing the club, it was extreme folly and someone should have stopped him. The memory of Dalglish wearing the tee-shirt will remain for most non-Liverpool supporters, the same way non-Spurs supporters remember Hoddle for the wrong reasons, while we still remember the player.

Strangely the owners have got away with sacking a legend when they should share the blame for disastrous handling of the crisis, which must have impacted on their season. The fans are so obsessed with the innocence of Suarez and how it was all lies by Evra and Fergie, they can't see how they have also let Dalglish down. He deserved better from the club he served so well as a player and manager and post-Hillsborough ambassador.

With or without help from the board, all Dalglish had to do was refuse to back a scummy, racist little brick. Problem would have gone away then.

My Liverpool supporting pal has just put on his Facebook 'For the record yes Bale is a diving ****. You spuds are just jealous cos you know Adam would be a perfect replacement for Modric. He can tackle Modric can't. He can score Modric can't. Set piece specialist Modric isn't. If Modric is worth £40m I'd say Adam is worth £60 much better all round player'

Not sure where to start.

:ross:

This guy is your pal? :)

Most of the croatian Liverpool fans I met are delusional idiots...It seems that Liverpool has a special appeal to that kind of people from around the globe...United fans seem to be much more realistic then Liverpool fans, which is mind bogling considiring the amount of success United had past few decades...

Luis Suárez has angrily criticised the supporters who targeted him for sustained abuse during Great Britain's match against Uruguay, accusing them of a "total lack of respect".

Suárez also received the public backing of his Liverpool and Uruguay team-mate Sebastian Coates, who said the crowd had "gone too far" after another night when Suárez was repeatedly booed.

The jeering interrupted the playing of the Uruguay national anthem after Suárez was shown on the big screen and the striker hit out after a 1-0 defeat that meant his team were eliminated.

"I think they jeer me and they boo me because they must be scared of facing a player like me," he said. "They fear me, but that doesn't affect me. I'm just hurt because we lost and we are going home. I can take the abuse … but I think it was a total lack of respect from the crowd to boo when we were trying to sing our national anthem. I think those things should not happen."

Suárez's unpopularity with opposition crowds can be traced back to his altercation with Patrice Evra last season and the Football Association hearing that ruled he had racially abused the Manchester United player. Suárez was banned for eight matches and has been one of the more reviled players in the Premier League ever since.

"I'm tired of this situation with Luis," Coates said. "I think it has gone too far and I don't like to see him treated like this. I know the kind of person he is and I think the abuse he gets is very unfair. He knows all his team-mates and a whole country are fully behind him and I think fans over here should leave him alone."

I'm sure the Ghana fans appreciate his respect for doing things the right way.

He might get a little more respect if he stops going around doing things like this

Yeah they are really scared of a player who needs 8 chances to score and is a crap finisher.

This smacks of what Ronaldo said when he was asked why people boo him, except Ronaldo is actually the gonad*s and his statement was far more accurate.

That is hilarious on so many levels! Where do you start?!

They have two of the biggest cheats in the league- Suarez and Gerrard and yet if you call Gerrard a diver to one of them, they look at you like you've got two heads.

Adam can score? 1 league goal last season begs to differ.

Set piece specialist? How many goals did they score from his set pieces?
