Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

They beat wham well. Mane is back. I think they are a top 6 side despite the crazy manager. If they can get fast CBs they should be OK methinks.

""And my face was like the emoticon with the big eyes! We are Tottenham, come on!" M Pochettino

Liverpool complain about the difficulty of getting good centre backs, but they play Gomes at RB. I was surprised how well he did with England at CB.

I think Gomes had a good game, but it's much better for defenders to play in a team that is sitting deep and compact, with a defensive midfielder like Dier infront of them -- even then, he was in a back 3 so always had a centre-back covering him if he followed Neymar up the pitch to force him back.

Playing centre-half for Klopp's Liverpool with no proper defensive midfielder offering protection is a much harder job, nigh on impossible to look good in that setup imo.

Agree with both of these.

On the plus side they've stopped whining about us pinching every player they were about to sign.

Sturridge reported today as wanting a January move to secure his world cup place.

The problem with him, is this:
In just over three years since however, he has made only 71 more appearances, netting 27 times.

Great strike rate, poor appearance rate by any standard.

That and he is clearly a taco.

I'd be equally happy if they win their group and then get rewarded for winning the group by drawing Real Madrid and getting spanked.

Jamie Carragher, Steve McfookinNumbnuts, Steve Nicol, Phil Thomson, Michael Owen, Jim Beglin, Jamie Redknapp, John Barnes, Graeme Souness, Danny Murphy.

Your bloated egos and shrivelled credibility took one helluva beating today. One helluva, STFU, beating.

Not in Seville. In Dortmund.

Now pihss th'fookoff and getta real job.
