U23s, Academy and Loanees

Also Mason Melia and the other Scottish lad we just got, who's name escapes me right now.
Wilson.
Annoying because we already have a Wilson in the first team. Well, if he had an ACL he would be.

Also Boast from Leeds and Dan Batty from City and loads of others over the years e.g. Soonsup-Bell when he was released form Cheatski but in all honest it is such a mishmash of humans at that age, anything can happen... you can even have a gem that doesn't get a chance and goes on to prosper elsewhere OR just disappear into non-league.

Yeah, I thought Onomah and the other lad in his age group (again, who's name I forget - went to Rangers on loan, did a rainbow flick in his first game and spent the rest of his time being kicked from pillar to post by grizzled Scots!) were certain to be successful but it never happened for them.
Like Bostock, who was tipped to become a star.

And how many people, hand on heart, can say that they saw Kane becoming what he did?
The lad always had a degree of talent but he exceeded everybody's hope of what he may be.

We've currently got some real potential throughout the age groups but as you say, a lot can happen between the ages of 15/16 to 20.

Josh Onomah looked great at a young age. Like Tyrese Hall, so classy. But he probably won't be good enough for a Spurs first team role and will be sold for a few mill to League One and will then have to try and claw his way back up through the Champ to the Prem to a good team in the Prem to a top 6 team in the Prem. Even Devine and Donley and loads of others they have a LOT of talent and are really good players but to break into the first team is such a massive challenge nowadays... Donley was an option but we bought Xavi!
E.g. for Lankshear to kick out Solanke and Muani and whoever we buy this summer.

Even those that do make it big e.g. Jadon Sancho or Bynoe Gittens, they have kinda made it on paper but also they are HATED by the fans and deemed not good enough. Even that turncoat Noni Madueke that left us and ended up at Arse, you can say that he made it and he might well end up with a medal round his neck but I don't feel like he's truly made it, he's a bit part player brought in when others are unfit and is a big stiff idiot.
