I think since then Gazzaniga has come through more and is now seen as #2.
And three foreign spots used for GK is a bit silly, so makes sense IMO.
Let Vorm go, Save £60k a week, free up a space for another non domestic player...

Still, poor planning. Do we REALLY know that much more about Gazzaniga's qualities compared to the summer? It's good to be flexible with how players are needed within the squad but it just seems poor planning to me.

Also, perhaps Vorm was given a deal safe in the knowledge we were going to sell others - which then didnt happen and now we have squad places restricting us?
I dont think its a big deal. Much like Dembele, no hard feelings at all, but time to move on...

I agree with the overall point re 3 foreign spots at GK but it was silly in the summer as well.
Still, at least that 'wrong' is being attempted to being put right...we hope...

And he came in cheap, which is often balanced by an inflated wage.

I’d be really happy if we off loaded Vorm, Dembele, GKN & Jansen. I can’t see it making any discernable difference to the squad strength and would sort the registration issue. It would also put us in a good position to buy when ready and clear the way for some youth to come through in the meantime.
Llorente I think would weaken us slightly - if we lost the above only. Otherwise, that could happen also.
I really want Wanyama to be resurrected. He’s a difference maker.
