Amusing post from SC, hopefully to make at least a few folks on here laugh -

'I genuinely can’t believe that Poch looks around the dressing room everyday and sees Nkoudou drawing Goku from Dragon Ball Z, Janssen man-marking the urninals, Wanyama getting defibrillated, Llorente asking Trippier which boot goes on which foot and Trippier being stumped by it, and thinks “yes. This is a team of champions, how could I ever improve this?”

Funny, but a bit harsh when you consider that in the next room you’ve got Harry Kane, Son, Dele, and Eriksen! Probably half a billion £s plus worth of talent at today’s prices!

GUEYE BID ACCEPTED?

Everton have accepted a £26m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for defensive midfielder Idrissa Gueye, but the two parties are yet to agree on how the deal will be structured in terms of instalments, according to reports in France.

Yahoo France report that Gueye is keen to make the switch to PSG this month.

Meanwhile, RMC report that PSG face competition for Gueye's signature, with Premier League teams interested in the 29-year-old former Aston Villa man.

When Villa went down I thought he was just about the only player to come out of it with credit. And I think he has done a very decent job at Everton (if not that recognised).

Was posting more from the point of view of Rabiot though, that would be the second midfielder they have bought in and all but confirmation he wont be playing/needs to move.

Which isnt to say he would be coming to us of course, just that he will be on the market.

Would help if we didn't buy 'bargains'

My extended family do this with cars! They have got a couple GKN diesel's that are hard to shift.

Great analogy.

Buy cheap buy twice would be another one, although thrice might be more apt for both the back up 9 and pacey winger attempts!
