Transfer thread

Nope. Romero's time is up clearly, but we need to keep VdV. I'd loan Vuskovic for one more season. Senesi and Van Hecke in, Romero & Dragusin out.

Probably 50 mill after balancing Van Hecke with sale money. Put that into a CF. A real one.

I am actually shocked that anyone would agree to VdV being sold.
If we loan out Vuskovic again, he won't be club trained. He should be playing here from now on. He's good enough for the premier league.

A PL loan maybe?
Makes sense. He's too good to be playing at our level, so a top half team like Brighton might suit him.

Apparently United are sniffing about a permanent purchase.

Id rather he stays and we sell Danso. But would not be against Vuskovic being loaned to Brighton as part of the deal to sign JPVH. As long as there is no option to extend and would want Vuskovic to sign an extension as well.

Somewhere like Palace (depending on their new manager), Bournemouth or Brighton would be a good place for him to develop further. Stable environments with teams trying to play on the front-foot and out of the limelight to some degree.

As someone who has barely seen him play other than YT highlights, is he the new De Ligt given his size and reported lack of mobility?

In a statement, Real said: "Following the meeting of the board of directors held today, it has made an offer of 150 million euros to Club Atletico de Madrid for the federative rights of the player Julian Alvarez.

"After reviewing and evaluating the offer, Club Atletico de Madrid has expressed its gratitude for the proposal, made within the framework of the good relations between both clubs, and has rejected it, referring to the player's release clause."

Atletico quoted the Real Madrid statement on X alongside a series of laughing emojis., external

In a subsequent post, external they stated: "You must have confused education with gratitude, but to leave no doubt: we don't thank you for anything.

"We neither study nor consider any offer for Julian. How could we not get along, when you make us laugh even more than Barcelona does."

In a final post, Atletico added, external: "P.S. Taking advantage of the good relationship with your new president, let's see if you stop 'stealing' players from our Academy. Thanks a lot, @realmadrid!"

Atletico like to go straight for both barrels on the old social media :tearsofjoy:

Would prefer Hull, would really test both his mentality and defensive nous. If he gets through that, then all question marks would be gone

Presumably we can have our pick from most of these. Not Xavi nor Paz. I heard El Khannouss was the next big thing. Oh and Said el Mala or whatever he’s called. Oh and that Norwegian left winger Nusa.

Point is, we’ve had another year to look at all these guys, and are big enough to get them. Plus the other five or six that have popped up in the Prem.

We need to put our big boy pants on. If we want Kroupi or Rayan or Evanilson or whatever, go and get them

Lange should’ve told Rayan’s dad to make a call to us like Eze did to Woolwich…

The new Bobby Moore by most accounts

El Khannouss had a fantastic season seemingly and is well out of our reach now

We wont sell Danso. He was excellent for us in the run in. The type of player you want in your squad. Romero can go though.
Vuscovic shouldnt be loaned again . Sell him for 100 mill or bring him back.

Can’t have 5 CB’s of that level with no European football unless we are going to play a back 3. Which I am not against personally but some hate the idea lol.

Van Hecke - Vuskovic - Van de Ven aka Triple V
