I'm wondering if VDV is seen as Udogies cover and that's why we've been linked to another CB

I think we are Quality CB short from having a complete set anyway, without VDV being LB cover

I keep reading the name Koni De Winter, who seems to have those utility player strengths. I wonder if he's the missing link actually.

Have you ever actually watched him play? Check his stats aswell, there is a reason Alonso wants to sell him without even properly looking at him.
I have watched real Madrid quite a bit, and hes6generally been pretty good. Him and Vinícius feeding Mbappè, who misses. Good team player.

I think it's been decided that Davies is going to cover Udogie this season, and we'll revisit that next summer.

I don't think it's the worse thing now we are playing a more normal line and a double pivot again.

Spence will cover Udogie and Porro. Davies is an injury backup

Not enough cover there in my opinion. I've tried to use the neuralyzer gun on myself and forget big parts of last season but failing. We had Porro in complete burnout. We had Udogie struggling for big parts of the season with either injuries or recovering from injuries. Then we had Spence doing OK but not really defending that well at times. Gray wasn't the most convincing full-back either, whilst Davies was much less seen as a full-back. It's actually been a really long time since we've seen Ben have a run of games at full-back. He doesn't get any younger.

Not that we haven't got some good players, but there is a fragility about full-back over a 50-60 game season in my opinion. I'd still like to see another specialist in, even if they are on the young side. I bet Frank would love Rico Henry. Mitchell is another super LB. Then we're now seeing Estupinan leave the English game. He was the best LB in the league 2 seasons ago.

Porro/Udogie
Spence/Udogie
Porro/Spence
repeat

If a LB is injured you may even see vdV there before Davies.

That's still giving them too many games. Porro was walking dead by half way through last season. We still need to use Davies, or replace him with a specialist Udogie rotation.

I would never have played Davies LB under our last couple of managers (but fine at CB). But under a Frank wonky, I think he could do a really good job.

Barcelona have agreed to cover Rashford's wages for the duration of his season-long loan.

The forward has accepted a 25% pay cut and it saves Manchester United about £14m.

Rashford's loan deal, which is for an initial 12 months, includes an option to buy at the end of the season.

The fee should he be bought is set at £30.3m (35m euros).

They now need to justify it to the Spanish finance teams to get it approved
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is another limbo deal
