Again, without moving more players on our squad would become bloated if we had signed more players. Once everyone is fit again we have a big squad

Thats 27 players battling for 11 places and i know we can drop players that TF doesn't like but if we are signing players for the sake of it in January we may aswell use the players we have when they all start coming back from injuries.

Davies and Bissouma are out of contract at end of season
RKM & Palhinha are loans
Bentancur, Richi, Vic & Dragusin (last two pushing) are all in the "for sale" group, the manager doesn't rate Kinsky or Tel

So all of a sudden your 27, is actually 19 if not smaller.

There would have been zero issues adding 1 or 2 senior players to the squad.

Not shocked, because I have even less faith in the club post Levy than with.

But people defending the club can't deny all the talk that was put out by the club, by Vinai's statement, by club mouthpieces, we had money, we were going to invest, we were going to break wage structure. And you buy Gallagher and two kids?

Up to this week, Frank himself said we tried for Semenyo, if you had that kind of money there was no other player in all of Europe? no plan B

It's either incompetence (in action and/or messaging/PR) or strait out lies, pick your poison
 
Sterling wouldn’t bring anything even for six months, he is the epitome of signing someone just because you can. Just zero point.

Personally I’m smashing F5 expecting that juicy late Leandro Damaio bid anytime now.
 
On the one hand I found our transfer business this window underwhelming, on the other, I would rather we keep our powder dry and wait until the summer than go for just "decent" players now.

And if I'm not mistaken, Bentancur and Davies are out for the season.
Kulu and Madison - who knows when they'll return, and when they do if they won't break down again.

That said, I'm not sure who we could have gone for. The complete lack of activity by anyone speaks volumes.

Awful reading that, just shows how crap our recruitment is. When we don’t sign a player, the recruitment is crap and when we do sign a player the recruitment is crap. Just crap recruitment all around. And whoever recruited the crap recruitment chap is crap too.

In a nutshell it’s “Crap”

Bottom line is that we tried. It’s the effort that counts, not the cost of tickets.
 
The incompetency of how we have been run from a football POV over the years has caught up with us....not attractive to good and ambitious coaches, not attractive to good and ambitious players, probably now not attractive to those who are very good at running football clubs (shame we couldn't keep Trevor Birch when we had him, but hey all in keeping with the trend).


Oh well, chickens have fully come home to roost.
It probably doesn't get better THFC overall until ENIC sell up.

My guess is they know this too...
