Tottenham Hotspur Women

Watched todays match v WHU, new manager but same old problems lack of creativity, Spurs won 1-0 but both clubs are lacking quality, shots on target Spurs 1, WHU 1. Only bright spot was Koga , looks really composed on the ball , how many transfer windows before some big money offer comes in for her.

Lack of investment shows I guess

I've never been a fan of Womans football, it's a generational thing I assume, none of the female members of my family have much interest in the game other than watching my grandson play. I watched the CBBC show about Spurs Academy and it was great to see the joy the young girls got about playing, made me reavaluate my views.

I think many men think it's being rammed down their throat despite it not being as good as what they're used to watching. There's no hiding from the fact that the quality can be very hit and miss, and there are huge gaps in talent. But it's about so much more than that, and we're only at the beginning. In 20-30 years we'll start seeing the real impact of the boom over the past 5-10 years, when the little girls of today and the ones to be born over the next few years reap the benefits of the investments being made right now.
