I have to say, when people wonder why as a club we have an air of glorious failure, it is because of our fans.
The stadium has been full of nervous wrecks tonight. No doubt the team wasn't playing well but there was an air of defeatism around the club before the game. But we get the news of Chelsea and Arsenal's scores, and all of a sudden we are able to sing with confidence? For the first time of the evening?
When people wonder why even though this group of players have nothing to do with the squad of the 90s, or the Jol years, why do we still feel like we can fall short in the crucial moments...the fans are the constant. Actually pretty annoyed with those in the stadium tonight.
