Only saw the first half, thought we were playing quite well and were in with a chance of getting a result, then along came Cuti.
Shame about Udogie was starting to look back to his best, when will we ever get a break from injuries it's virtually every game.
I'm sorry that the referee sent me off is very different from I'm sorry I contested that ball. You can be regretful about the unfair consequence, as opposed to the action.
He hasn’t said anything about being hard done by. Frank has said it was a red card, I know his word doesn’t carry much weight right now but all the same. Footballers almost always contest red cards and very rarely accept they’ve done anything wrong. If Frank, Romero or the dressing room thought the red card was harsh then I’m sure that’s the rhetoric we would be hearing.
We never agreed a fee with them.
The official statement released by Sporting president Frederico Varandas
From Bruno Fernandes himself.

There is a whole other narrative which I could posit that makes enormous sense, the one where Romero is basically on a silence and behave order given his recent media dealings and Frank is essentially not interested in getting into it because by nature he is a deflator and not an inflator.
But it seems futile.
You have an opinion that you will balance as you need to.
As do I.
Best we move on.
And that's the point with Romero, I'm not having this he's being victimised nonsense. He plays on the edge, sometimes he gets away with it and other times he doesn't.The Palhinha yellow card was scandalous compared to the Romero red card. Palhinha’s tackle was strong but fair and he got the ball. How many times has Romero avoided red cards when he should have received his marching orders.

I think it's more to do with TF's media handling skills. I've watched many now, and I'm pretty sure he uses a diffuser style with the press. Limited controversy and avoid getting into a confrontation with the press strategy. There is no evidence that is what the apology was about. Why would he apologise for a referee’s error if he thought that to be the case?
Frank’s comments were that he had watched the incident five times and “it is a red card” and that Romero had “apologised to his teammates.” No mention of a mistake by the referee (in fact the opposite) - so I am not sure how you are deriving your current conclusion from what has been said by the manager, and by the actions after the game of the player who made the tackle.
Or perhaps that the manager is a really poor one?The new man hasn't been able to arrest the problems we already have. It just demonstrates that the problems we have are deep set and no quick fix is applicable.
Our build up play is woeful. That is why we barely create any chances other than from set pieces. We might have lost anyway. But it seem like we were a match for them. Possibly another draw with a full compliment.
The positives - which have been developing for the last 15 games - is our build up play. Genuinely better than most teams at passing the ball around. Partly due to Xavi finding his rhythm. And Gallagher helps too. Idk why the lamenters think this fast moving passing style is ugly to watch.
The bits that need fixing are the critical areas at both ends of the pitch. We make mistakes in defence - Romero today. And could Vic have got to their first goal? The main issue is we have to do better getting the ball into the oppositions net.
I’ll take away the spells where we dominated possession and worked the ball through them with pace in the first 30, we looked the better side in spells.
That's very possibly the case. Frank has undoubtedly underperformed but to what extent is debatable. For me a top 8 finish would be quite good for this squad.Or perhaps that the manager is a really poor one?
So you can just chuck players to the ground.
You kid surely? You could have made that exact post 10 times this season.
