Last week sort of put those fears to bed for me as did today actually, we started well, West Ham and Forest need to win 3 more games than us, its not going to happen

I agree he will be gone in the summer, think the board have already decided it
 
I have fully accepted that we are going down. I honestly believe vinai is a fudging double agent trying to sabotage us from within, and he is succeeding.

The deal was agreed but his chairman went back on it. Fernandes was distraught at the time. I remember there was more than a whiff of suggestion that there was inducement to play us along because Man Utd would be able to have a go in the summer

I agree, but we seem to keep saying 'circumstances' - there becomes a point where whether things are going for you or not, the manager has to get results. The players are playing for him i dont doubt, and I dont think we will go down.

But beyond that, I can't shake the feeling the board are hoping to just get through this season as a write off and then bring someone else in....

It has that kind of feel over it doesnt it? Senior players letting the team down and toxic behaviour that needs to be taken away from promising youth players

I don’t know if we will actually go at this point, but I think it’s much more of a real threat than people are accepting.

I also think if we stay up, it will ironically be a bit like West Ham in recent seasons where we stay up by virtue of there being just enough teams underneath us who are even worse.

We’re lucky to have Burnley and Wolves this season, I think it’s only West Ham who can catch us.
