****Tottenham Hotspur v BVB********* OMT Official

Some quality performances today, especially Xavi and Odobert. I thought Gray and Bergvall were pushing the ball into Simon's and wingers quickly so we broke better.

I thought Danso being more no nonsense bought a bit of balance just clearing the ball when needed.

However, I hope Muani is dropped. So poor from him when he came on. Scarlett or another youngster deserve the chance there

And should have had a couple more really

Actually scoring when we intend to be on top and actually defending well and with intensity when we sit back. It’s not complicated but when it works it works. So many recent games have been dreadful because we fail to execute in the moments where we need to, where we have planned to, and we give ourselves a mountain to climb.

Really needed the win tonight. From post in other threads you will know I`m not a big fan of Xavi but he had a good game tonight. If he had his shooting boots on he should have had one goal at least and unlucky not to have a couple of assists. Well done lad. I love it when Spurs players prove me wrong.

We have played like this in plenty of games though and not got rewards. We have also played crap too many times and been bogged down with confidence in the league.

We haven't fluked being 4th in the CL table, thats telling.

Need to string stuff together

That's the tottenham we all want to see, from the manager, the players and the fans, I thought they did us proud tonight.

Agree. Performances like that most weeks and the future looks better.

Just need to go a few games without picking up a knock to somebody, plus start seeing some more players return.

Who will back available at the weekend? VDV, Gallagher, Tel, Bissouma, maybe Paulinha, anybody else?

Amazing the difference having an actual proper striker on the pitch makes.
