It is looking a lot more positive than in a long long time, and nothing pleases more.
A long way to go, and we’ve got duck feathers on the bench. So we must keep it going!
As for what’s different? We’re much higher up the pitch, for one thing. Romero seems to be stepping much further up and breaking the lines. Even more so now that we’re one man more and two goals up. And we’re committing bodies forward.
And it seems like we’re playing with a lot less caution or fear, if you prefer.
Enough to turn things around? There’s hope, but that would depend on holding it together to the end of this match. And then to learn and understand what made this work, and develop it. I think it is too late, if the wheels are in motion already. If not, it could buy some time.
