*** Tottenham Hotspur v Bodo/Glimt *** Semi final , 1st leg 1/5/25.

A bit annoying that united get to know the final stadium, and have a win there. Gives them a small advantage.

We have a job to do in our return leg all the way up the globe. We need Maddison, Richi and the more mature players. The younger players don't seem secure in a system.

We were the better team overall, but the deflected goal and a few crucial injuries ruined an otherwise good evening.

Lets hope our injuries aren't serious (yeah right) and we manage to put together a similar performance next week.

In typical Spurs fashion we never make it easy for ourselves. If Spurs brewed Carlsberg, it would taste even bricker than it already does.
I kind of like Carlsberg.

Beyond them not looking one bit intimidated or nervous, I also thought they showed glimpses of what they're about, great movement, intelligent swift passing and that'll be tenfold at their place. Remember they have at least 3 regulars to come back.

And it wouldn't surprise me if Dom Madders and Lucas won't be available.

That said...just go for the dogged low block grind.

That goal could really be the difference.
Felt we needed a 3 goal lead minimum going into the 2nd leg as their home record in Europe is excellent, 30 wins out of 37 I think. We need another 'Frankfurt' performance.

Are all 3 of theirs expected to be back in a weeks time? Maddison is the one I worry about, we lost our momentum when he went off. When he is on it we click....

Good result, all of us would have taken a two goal advantage into a second leg.

I didn't think they offered anything at all going forward, just a shame that a deflected goal prevented a clean sheet.

If we can't make the final from here, then we simply don't deserve it.

In a semi final two legged match taking a two goal lead into the second leg is huge.

I can't see them scoring three, but I can see us scoring once.

Why do you say that? Is Maddison injured? He never lasts a full match? Bergvall is toast for sure. Dom hurt? I had to miss the second-half, so am catching up...

They rode their luck,
One shot on target, deflects into our net.
We deserve a slice of luck in the return leg.

It was a decent performance, far from elite, but decent enough.
The crowd was very quiet on TV, what was the atmosphere like at the ground?
