Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Atmosphere was immense tonight

Especially loved just as Sonny was lifting the EL, the announcement came through that all bars are closed

Could not believe they shut off the screens and we didn’t get to see the trophy lift. Assume it was to get people off the pitch but read the fudging room lads. Very poor I thoughtt.

This last week the NFL tickets for the two games in October went on sale. NFL increased prices again. Both games still with plenty of tickets left, prices ranged from £72-220 for GA, although I believe the lower tier on the sidelines were deemed premium so they were in the £300’s.
First time since the NFL at the stadium from my understanding that it has not sold out or been close to it after the tickets dropped. Be interesting to see what this means for NFL games at the stadium going forward, although I believe the NFL have a deal till 2030 for two games a year.

Last night (16 June), Beyoncé concluded her epic six-night run at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the record-breaking COWBOY CARTER TOUR. The groundbreaking series of concerts welcomed over 275,000 fans and grossed over £45,000,000, making it the most tickets and highest gross for any artist in the stadium’s history.

6 nights at an average attendance of c.45,800 per night , average take of £7.5 million per concert.
According to TH Stadium accounts revenue for 19 Premier League matches with average crowds of c.61,000 is circa £100 million that's approx average of £5.2 million per match.
Better keep this quiet from Levy , he might want to put up prices. :)

Of that 45m what do THFC take? We must have significant overheads to service too. 10% 🤷‍♂️

Nobody knows exactly apart from Collecott the finance director. When we got the NFL contract Ally Gold stated that Spurs received a stadium rental fee plus profits from food/drink sales and at that all the gate receipts were kept by the NFL so I would expect probably a similar arrangement for concerts , I think that's what happened at Wembley we paid them a rental fee , we kept all the gate money and they got food/drink sales.
The accounts do not specifically state how much is made from concerts exclusively, it lumps a whole load of revenue together . In the last accounts shown under "other revenue" which was £64 million up from £55.4 million the previous year, the total includes revenue from non-football events, membership fees, stadium tours, sky walk, conference and business events, pre season tour , matchday catering and F1 drive. It's a nice total but still way behind what the Mens PL squad brings in with gate receipts, TV money and PL prize money and this season Europa money. etc.

Key point though, we were limited to 16 events per year, it has been approved for an increase to 30 (almost double)

If you do some math, 30 events -> £110M (conservative), 2024 expected matchday revenue £105M, it's actually extremely relevant and actually eventually surpassing ticket revenue by some way.

Even if it was "only" a 50% uptick in revenue, it's massive validation of the stadium strategy and impact to give us an advantage against clubs that can't leverage the same additional revenue streams.

Yes it can be a significant increase in revenue and can possibly exceed football matchday revenue but at the moment PL/UEFA prize money / TV broadcast money and commercial income , AIA etc is still the major revenue at the club.

PS Next accounts should also see a large increase in matchday revenue, the last accounts covered 21 home matches , 19 PL and 2 FA cup, next accounts will cover 29 matches, 19 PL, 3 League cup and 7 Europa that should see a big rise in income.
