Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Re: Northumberland Development Project - CPO Now Granted!!!

He's probably concerned that better housing and facilities only 2 miles from where he says he lives in Tottenham Hale will effect his house price.

It shouldn't do.

Tottenham Hale is getting an even bigger makeover than Northumberland Park and High Road West.

He probably lives in Crouch End or Muswell Hill anyway; a classic 'champagne socialist' who makes out that he is on the side of the poor yet lives in a 5 bedroom town house and takes several foreign holidays each year.....and therefore almost certainly has a season-ticket at Arsenal (despite never having watched 'soccer' before 1998!)

Indeed, sounds like the whole area is on the cusp of joining the London property boom which should prove to be a nice earner for him.

Re: Northumberland Development Project - CPO Now Granted!!!

I'm not sure there's anything new there from first glance.

That whole area between the Sainsburys and Paxton has been flattened for quite a while. I knew the old garage/club shop opposite Chick King went earlier this summer.

I wouldn't read too much into it yet. It's standard practice to demolish buildings asap, so you don't have to pay business rates on them.

Re: Northumberland Development Project - CPO Now Granted!!!

So the final date Archway can appeal the process is 22 August. 13 days and counting

Re: Northumberland Development Project - CPO Now Granted!!!

This has just been posted on SSC

"61,000 from the stadium manager's mouth. 2017/18 we'll be in. 2016/17 season at Milton Keynes. Archway steel was settled 8-10 days ago. Everyone working there knows this. At last."

The original source was from a thread on the Fighting ****. Just had a look at it and it sounds like genuine itk.

Hate the idea of Milton Keynes, though.

A season at MK is a small price to pay to get in the stadium quicker.

I know it sucks for southern home counties fans, but it'll be no harder to get to than another part of London for many.

Re: Northumberland Development Project - CPO Now Granted!!!

61000??? Nice. What was the original planning for?
