Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - Licence To Stand

Well, Inter and AC Milan have shared a stadium for ages.

The San Siro was infamous for having a terrible pitch from the 90s (when the general standard of pitches started improving) until recently. It used to be relaid 6-7 times a year.

3 years ago they put in a Desso pitch if a similar type to the one at Wembley, but it still needs to be reseeded in their winter break.

I don't believe the Premier League schedule would allow both teams to have no home games for a 3 week period over Christmas, which is the minimum time needed.

easy just get them chelsea spurs games played back to back at Wembley with a game sandwiched in the middle where both teams play outside of wembley.

Alternatively just split the pitch and play 5 a side

Is that the case with Lazio/Roma, Bayern/1860, Genoa/Sampdoria etc. too?

Germany (6 weeks) and Italy (can be 3 weeks) both have winter breaks to renovate their pitches. The Stadio Olimpico has a bad reputation despite having more natural light due to the distance between the seats and pitch. The Allianz Arena has Desso which fine due to their extended break mid season.

I think the planning application may have gone in! I've been doing a quick search each day to see if something popped up:

No details at all yet but the received date is 18/09/15. Hopefully they're typing in the details and attaching PDF files right now
