Only way Dier gets named to a match day squad is if the whole team eats some dodgy lasagna. Even then...
I think it's more likely to do with his injury. He clearly played him in the Fulham game to give him an opportunity to get the goals tally started which he did. To then drop him next game wouldn't make much sense. It wasn't guaranteed Richi would be fit and available for this game....
