Felt like we just wanted the trophy more, perhaps Utd fans were more thinking of the CL element, maybe they're just fed up with the season, we weren't thinking of those things, winning that cup was the focus and the fans were brilliant. A great night, I'm gonna go have a kip.
 
Hoping to find my wife some help to manage bedtime tomorrow so I can come up.

I was debating whether to take my (just) four year old to the parade when it seemed it would be starting earlier, but I just think he’ll be too overwhelmed and given the later ‘kick off’ will allow some to be even more ‘enthusiastic’ than before.

If anyone is coming and similarly likely to be on their own, let me know, I’ll happily buy you a drink if I make it!

So fudging proud of them all.

I honestly dont remember hearing the United fans singing once. It almost felt like a stadium just full of Spurs fans
 
We basically did to Utd what Liverpool did to us in 2019, didn’t “play” particularly well but defended brilliantly. A very mature cup final performance, laser focused and confident.

I was pretty bullish leading up to the game, knowing we had that back 5 fit and available we were always going to have a chance no matter the injuries further forward. We are an undeniably completely different side with those all playing.

Liked the vibes around the club going in to the game as well, lots of talk of winning it and general positivity rather than just making up the numbers and being happy to be there.

Scholes, Keane and Carragher were all at it. Carragher went as far as to say we had “no chance” of beating United in a European final.

I’m not saying they should have predicted us to win or anything, it was a tight game. But to base your prediction on historic achievements by a club that is not recognisable anymore was mind boggling. This is a dreadful Man Utd team and their biggest star didn’t turn up. How those pundits didn’t see that as a possibility, nay probability, is unbelievable.

And then Gary Neville picks a combined Spurs/United XI, only Fernandes makes the team, yet picks United to win??? How does that work??
