Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

Went to the Tottenham stadium to watch. What a night. What an atmosphere before, during and after the game.

COYS

I was there too. It was fudging awesome, the next best thing to being in Bilboa, I'd imagine. 40k plus fans cheering the team on like they could hear us and the mass pitch invasion at the end was a mix of pure joy and the release of 17 years of frustration.

What a bonkers end to a bonkers season!

I think the tone of my post has probably masked the meaning of what I meant for some (in fairness to myself it was a 4am kick off, I haven’t had any sleep and it’s now 4pm)

I mean people are going to try and degrade this win. Tell us it means nothing when we all know that’s not true. It’s time to pull up the drawbridge and go full siege mentality. No longer Spurs the club who has the tinkle taken out of them at every opportunity.

Not sure I got any pelters though

You keep on believing mate, victories like this mean so much more when you've kept the faith.

I don't want to really talk about Ange but analysing the game is fair. I'm guessing we lost on every stat except the one that matters. I think we deserved the clean sheet though. Apart from the hangover, this morning feels great.

Keep reading the stats, but remember there's only one that matters, the rest are there to give the talking heads something to do.

My 6 year old daughter is always catching grief from friends, teachers, coaches etc. Was able to show her her favourite player (Son) lifting a trophy and all the fans and players celebrating. She heard We Are The Champions and was genuinely happy.

Watched a video showing people reacting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and at the front of the shot were 3 kids maybe 12ish(?) bawling their eyes out. And good fudging on 'em...hope they don't have to wait until they're 53 for the next one!

My twin boys (11) were in floods. It means the world to them, they even filmed the lifting of the trophy they’re so besotted with the club and hopefully this is the start of something big for them

Haven't engaged with media yet this morning, looking forwards to their response and explanation as to why we got lucky/didn't deserve it/had poor opponents/whatever else they can come up with to take the shine off our GLORY.

I know that some of the OMT's have been hyperbolic, but I meant every word below of what I wrote in this one...

"This side -this squad- is so YOUNG that they know not of the 'baggage' associated with our (more recent) history.
They DGAF.
What they DO know is how to re-arrange their feet and minds when it comes to European football.
So whatever you think you know, whatever you fear could happen, just know it's in YOUR head...that this collection of not-especially-star-studded, perhaps too-young, and most certainly inconsistent players knows how to get their jive on when it counts. And it counts only once more this season. In this one."

We played like a side who was focused and determined.
In the moment.
In the minute.
Do your job, track it, harass, maintain shape, and restrict them.
Take our moment.

There will be much to write (and say) in the coming days and weeks, but for now let's acknowledge not just the win, but the fact that THIS Tottenham Hotspur is brave, focussed, and able to win when it counts. I mean, when it REALLY counts.

I hope with all my heart we take advantage of this opportunity to continue building and growing it.

Audere Est Fa-fudging-cere!
Tremendous work Steff with the OMTs.
And if it’s not too much work, I think you deserve the honour of doing the last one of the season for Sunday, to celebrate our EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS!!!!

@thfcsteff tagging so you see this.
No pressure though!!!
