Thomas Frank Thread

Any info on how the Brentford fans feel about this? I’ve not seen a single piece of news on them yet
I have been keeping an eye on their forum, they were devastated about it and kind of living in hope that he turns us down. I think now that it has sunk in they are sad to see him leave and don’t want him taking Collins with him.

I must admit, i would have expected you to be quite underwhelmed with us getting Frank, especially that we now have CL games next season (Ange's special parting gift).
I have to admit i have been, but time 'heals' as it were for me i guess...

I'm not a fan (think he's a bit too direct for me), but I see the logic of safe hands (similar while I wasn't a huge Nuno fan, I wasn't as anti his appointment as others were).

My only reservation, and it’s not about Frank is…
Who was the last manager to step up within the league and be successful ??

The issue is how do you define successful? I think very similar to Nuno, given some time/patience (in first half of season), I fully expect Frank to finish in the top 5/6. Is that enough?

I'd argue with the scale of change to first team (painful rebuild done), plus the amount of youth invested in, a couple of years of consistency, player development and the additional incoming over next 2-3 windows, is not a bad outcome.
