Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Would we possibly fire Frank at half time of a European game and tell everyone but him?

Na, we’d never do that to a manager, we’re too classy a club.
If we can do it to a manager who had done a good job for us then we can do it to anyone (though we have different decision makers at the club now who I’m hoping won’t stoop this low).

He is clearly not a brick manager though.

There is always peripheral crap people mention thats irrational and has no link to the football. You don't have to look far for it.

He's a brick manager for us.

To borrow from someone, there are no good and bad managers (at this level), there are right and wrong.

Frank is the wrong manager for us, and no amount of time, or board backing, or transfers will change that.

We’ve seen well liked managers sacked at half time in European games. Tomorrow could be horrible. He’s a decent bloke and I wish him well but he’s the wrong man for us.

I do wonder if any of his coaching staff will go with him if he were to be sacked this week?

He looked very relaxed which does make me think he could be done as Mr Funky House has suggested and is feeling relieved at being put of his misery.

Didn’t he say he had lunch with Vinai and Lange and talked about life? Suggests to me that they were open about the fact it’s probably coming to an end, and that they don’t blame him per se, but it is what it is.

That's a decent read. The whole thing is weird. Maybe they were discussing his exit terms i.e. Vinai passing him the peas!
