Honestly...if you go back and watch those first ten games it was some of the best passing, brave electric attacking play we've seen across many many managers
It was indeed very good, I remember being surprised at how good it looked considering the players we actually had but it never had any balance to it and even then it lacking crisp cutting edge, there was a lot of just , it relied too much on overwhelming the opposition and keeping the side compact so we always had a passing option available. Once opposition teams worked out the flaws they just exploited the very same flaws game after game.

What I would have loved to see is that system given some proper structure, but I honestly think that was the only way to get that calibre of player to be able to play that football. It needed a little bit more structure and pragmatism to the system.
