Agree, which I why I found that chart surprising.

When you consider we are probably a very data-driven club now with regards to performance analysis, this may help explain why the board are giving TF a longer leash than most of us would.
On most metrics we are in the bottom half, I don't think you finding a niche one like passes Per Defensive Action that we are actually showing fairly well in is the reason Frank is still in a job.

If there was a suitable candidate ready to step in after the West Ham game he likely would have gone. If he loses to Burnley, he's gone and even after that he's forever walking on a tightrope being one or two games away from his position being untenable but his saving grace is alternative options right now - people were seriously talking about Harry Redknapp FFS.....

I'm not arguing against any of that.

I merely thought it was an interesting stat, and in conjunction with our modern data-led approach, could provide some context for TF's continued employment. After all, none of us know what discussions are being had behind the scenes on how his tenure is being evaluated.
