Grant Ward signs for Ipswich

Ipswich Town have signed winger Grant Ward from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal, with the option of another 12 months.

The 21-year-old never made a first-team appearance for Spurs but had loan spells at MLS side Chicago Fire, Coventry City and Rotherham United.

Ward scored twice in 40 Championship matches for the Millers last term.

He is Ipswich's third summer signing, following the arrivals of defenders Adam Webster and Paul Digby.

Clearly Andros makes up 1/3 of the total, but it's not too shabby business for our Academy

I actually quite liked o hara! He had a few excellent games for us, but yea we were clearly right to sell and we had to improve on players like him.

A few missing from that.... Azzoui (rumoured to be £2 million), Yahaya, Jordan Archer, Coullibaly, any others?

Just bumping this from 10th July
 
It's Ball's last season before he becomes overage, so its make or break season. Championship is definitely a big step up from the SPL

2CV will definitely our 4th CB next season then
 
I know he's not one of our youth players anymore, but grant ward has scored two goals in 15 minutes since coming on at half time for his debut at Ipswich. Pleased for the lad, hope he becomes a superstar for them
