They really didn't do anything special. This was more the Greeks taking it in the arse than anything else.

I know this Greek side wasn't as solid as the one in '04, but still they were solid enough to shut up shop against a pretty good Russian side. Yet the Germans created a ton of good chances pretty much throughout the game. Very good performance imo.

Quick note on yesterday's game; Pepe is probably the best centre half in the world at the moment. Biggest **** in football, but what a player.

Germany were quite impressive today, but I thought Spain looked even better against Ireland if one can compare the two games. Would love to see them play each other in the final, and it does look like that will happen although Portugal can beat anyone at the moment.
