A lot of talk in the build up of how intimidating it would be to go to Anfield. If you can make it past the 15th minute the ‘you know what you are’ song stopped and it’s been plain sailing really. Seems everyone outside the payroll of sky sports knows that the myth of the atmosphere at Anfield is exactly that, a myth.

Probably in the minority but all the charges talk has teetered into boring territory for me now

It’s a brickhole and they are clams.

Watched the first half, poor.
Liverpool ran around like angry wasps in a bottle hoping the ref would be on their side against the cheats.
Missed the second half but could see the result coming.
Emirates Marketing Project may be cheats but Liverpool are loathesome.

When they start on Chelsea AND city I'll listen.
Until then it's no better than an half arsed job.

It's all becoming pathetic.
I find little residual admiration in their football - as you watch, yes, superb, but why is that? Because they can afford to stack their squad with dirty money.
FWIW I thought Ndiaye looked brick.

Yeah, honestly thought the coverage was just bizarre and turned off before the end of the game. I get why the broadcasters are doing it, because if you were to state it plainly that one side is made up of cheats who are likely to be punished with at least one relegation, you might lose viewers. But at the same time, having to hear ‘controversy aside, that was a great goal’ or whatever, does my fudging head in. The controversy is the entire point that they can afford those players! You cannot separate them! It is inherently less impressive because they acquired those players by cheating.

The punishment can’t come soon enough.

We had Mustoe and Howard who were, TBF, pretty damning of City after the whistle and criticised their post-match celebrations too.

And also clearly using PED’s.

Have to admit I did not notice that and I hate them so am more than willing to accept. One time up there, Dele's debut, we were near the divide and some little c unt started hissing and giving nazi salutes in mine and my friend's direction. My friend (who is Jewish) had to hold me back I was infuriated, calmly saying he'd get a steward over to throw him out. He did, they were. I have always disliked them immensely.
