And we lost to both of these.
We had chances against Sunderland and our brick strikers fluffed them all.I remember the season Leicester won the league, the feeling that teams were trying harder against us than them. This feels similar.
Ultimately, Nottingham always looked like a team in a false position based on the early part of the season. Glad I cashed out the relegation bet I had which I made when Ange was rumoured and cashed out just before he was sacked.
All those teams have had had players that have stepped up, even if it was was a period of time to pick up some results. It’s actually incredible how almost every other team in the league has put together a decent run of results in the last 6 months except us.
And then hired Tudor. Where as they took someone with Prem experience.Agreed. They rectified their mistake in hiring a coach that wasn’t what the squad needed or was looking for, and did it quickly. It means they’ve wasted the season (unless they win the Europa) but probably won’t go down. But they had spirit and good quality and clearly a togetherness, and confidence.
We let our tailspin continue all the way into February. We only have ourselves to blame.
It does. Also, refs were constantly favouring Leicester, I think it was the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game when Huth and Morgan effectively played as additional goalies! This year it feels like refs are subconsciously giving everything against us. Examples of subconscious bias or purposely playing their part in the narrative?I remember the season Leicester won the league, the feeling that teams were trying harder against us than them. This feels similar.
Don't think we've been unlucky, we've definitely been extremely brick. But just because we're brick doesn't mean there hasn't been bias, life isn't that binary.Stop it with the unlucky and bias stuff
We've just been brick, it's no more deeper than that.
There hasn't been bias. No more than any other team gets.Don't think we've been unlucky, we've definitely been extremely brick. But just because we're brick doesn't mean there hasn't been bias, life isn't that binary.
People are talking as if it's just Spurs who suffer from poor refereeing decisions. We have been absolutely abysmal. We have also suffered from absolutely abysmal refereeing. I don’t think those two things have to be mutually exclusive.
I'm not suggesting conspiracy, more that most people (refs in this case) follow the narrative and play to the crowd. There hasn't been bias. No more than any other team gets.
People screaming conspiracy )not saying you are in this case) are embarrassing
